Product Description

SOLAS MED Lifebuoy Ring
The SOLAS MED certified lifebuoy ring is an essential maritime safety device, designed to ensure high buoyancy, visibility, and durability even in the harshest marine conditions. Compliant with international SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) regulations and marked according to the MED (Marine Equipment Directive), it is mandatory on board commercial vessels, passenger ships, and professional maritime units. Manufactured with an internal core of closed-cell foam (typically polyurethane), the lifebuoy guarantees consistent and reliable buoyancy even in the event of external damage. The outer shell is made of high-density polyethylene, engineered to withstand impacts, UV exposure, chemicals, and harsh weather conditions at sea.
The high-visibility orange color, combined with certified retro-reflective tapes, ensures quick detection both during the day and at night, significantly improving man-overboard recovery operations. The perimeter grab line, securely fixed around the entire circumference, provides a firm grip and facilitates rescue procedures.
The SOLAS MED lifebuoy ring is designed to be used in combination with mandatory accessories such as floating lines, self-igniting lights, or smoke signals, further enhancing its effectiveness in emergency situations.
